ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Jasmine Womack and I am excited about being your child's language arts teacher this year! Language arts is truly my passion, as I have a deep love and respect for literacy and writing.
Education:
I have been teaching middle school for 11 years. I have taught 6, 7, and 8th grades. I taught for 10 years in the DeKalb County School District and this is my first year in Cobb. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University; M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Columbus State University; and most recently my Ed.S in Educational Leadership from Columbus State as well.
Family:
I am married to a wonderful guy named John and we have a blended family. Together, we have four children, ages 16, 14, 4, and 6 months.
Professional:
In addition to teaching, I also own my own publishing company and am a self-published author. My first book, "Twenty Pearls of Wisdom: Woman's Guide to Self Preservation" will be released at the end of August 2016. Me and my family are extremely excited!
Hobbies:
I love running (My goal is to complete a full marathon by January). I also love reading, writing, meeting new people, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Did I mention shopping?
