Wow! Can you believe it's September already?

We are off to a very strong start!

This week, students will continue using the TPCASTT strategy to analyze two poems, and compare and contrast vocabulary & punctuation usage between "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost & "Choices" by Nikki Giovanni.

AC students will receive their reading logs this week. They are due Friday Sept. 22. On-level students will be expected to read every night and will be given a small assessment on Friday over their independent reading that was to occur throughout the week.

Students will receive their September Book of the Month Project that will be due Tuesday, October 3.

Every Friday is Independent Reading Friday. Students are expected to bring a book or magazine of their choice for classroom reading.
