Happy Daylight Savings Time! I hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep!

This week we are focusing on revising the middle (Wednesday) and end (Thursday) of our Narrative essays. Independent Reading Day is every Friday, so make sure that you bring a good book!

There is no School on Tuesday.

Here's your vocabulary for the week:

Homework

Monday- Create a prefix- root- suffix flipchart for your words. Directions: Take 5-6 sheets of paper and fold them in half to create a flipbook. Then cut your paper twice so that you have 3 even sections (like I showed you in class). Break the word down into the prefix (first tab on left), root word (second tab in middle), and suffix (third tab on the right). Write the meaning of the prefix/root/suffix on the back of the tab. Tuesday- Define your words on a sheet of paper or index cards

Wednesday-On the back of each index card/or on the same line (if using a sheet of paper) write down 10 synonyms for each words

Thursday- Use each of your words in an original sentence.

Friday- Quiz
