Week of February 12-17

This week, we are knee-deep in essay writing!

All classes are completing Embedded Assessment #2- Writing an Explanatory Essay. We have read 3-4 articles which focus on how advertising companies market to children.

Students will be completing this guided activity in class, and will have to finish at home what they don't complete in class for the day.

All Final Drafts are due by Thursday, February 15. Students may submit them at the latest on Friday morning, prior to reading class splits.

On Thursday, we will be taking a Benchmark exam in USA Test Prep.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All 7th grade students will be completing their GA Milestones test electronically (on the computer). This includes this reading and writing sections. Please make sure that you child is completing their weekly USA Test Prep homework assignments online to help them prepare for reading and typing online.
