Welcome back!

I hope that you enjoyed your winter break!

We officially have 25 days before the Milestones exam. That's approximately 5 weeks. Please make sure that you/your child is up to date on all USA Test prep homework. Homework will not be accepted more than 2 days past its due date.

All 7th graders will be completing all parts of the Milestones on the computers this year, so even if you don't have computer access at home, please try to get your child to school early or allow them to stay after so they can get additional enrichment/ extra practice reading and typing.

This week, we will be reviewing and revising our Writing on Demand activity in preparation for the next Writing on Demand essay, which approaching in the next few weeks.

Monday- Analyze the prompt and assess student weaknesses

Tuesday- Students will "be the judge" and analyze different levels of writing and their scores, and then compare/contrast their own writing to the exemplary model.

Wednesday: Self- assess your original piece, complete a checklist, and revise essay.
